Urban Garden Wilhelminenhof

The Wilhelminenhof campus of HTW Berlin is not only a place of intensive study, but also a place of passionate gardening: the “Urban Garden” is a project by students.

The site is located directly on the River Spree in Schöneweide and was transformed into a green oasis by students in 2016. They began by building raised beds, which became more and more professional over time thanks to workshops and help from neighbors. Seating areas were created and a community of nature lovers grew up to maintain and develop the garden together.
