Dear students,
in the university elections, you decide who represents your interests at HTW Berlin. Among others, the Student Parliament, the Faculty Student Councils, the Faculty Councils, and student representatives in central university bodies such as the Academic Senate and the Board of Trustees are elected.
With around 14,500 students, it is not easy to know all candidates and their positions. This is exactly where the HTWahl-O-Mat can help: you answer 15 statements on university policy topics, such as the semester ticket, campus life, anti-discrimination, sustainability, student spaces, semester fees, or participation formats. For each statement, you can indicate whether you agree, are neutral, or disagree. Topics that are especially important to you can be weighted twice.
At the end, you select your department and can view results for different committees. The HTWahl-O-Mat shows you which candidates have the highest level of agreement with your answers. You can also take a closer look at individual profiles and the candidates’ positions.
Important: The HTWahl-O-Mat is not a voting recommendation, but an information tool. It is meant to help you get a quicker overview before the election and make a more informed decision.
The online election will take place from Monday, 22 June, to Friday, 26 June 2026 via vote.htw-berlin.de.
