What is the Technology Committee?
The AStA’s technology committee offers you a wide range of equipment to borrow free of charge. Whether you are planning a party, a film evening or a panel discussion – with us you will find the right technical equipment to make your event a success. Our goal is to promote non-commercial, student events and projects, with a focus on activities that benefit many students. You can find a detailed overview of what we offer on this page.
How does the loan process work?
- You submit your request using our contact form on this page
- We will contact you and arrange a pick-up date
- For the handover, we will create a checklist of the current state of the technology and, if necessary, explain the function and handling of the equipment
- When the equipment is handed over, you will sign a rental agreement in which the borrowed technology and the responsible persons are named. The rental is free of charge; however, the signing of the rental agreement is necessary for insurance reasons. Please bring your student ID or ID card with you when you pick it up
- You are organizing your event or project
- When it is returned, the technology will be checked for damage. In the event of damage caused by negligent use, the AStA will decide whether to reimburse any repair costs incurred
