System Administration/SysAdmin (m/f/d)
We are looking for motivated support in system administration (SysAdmin) as a student assistant (m/f/d) starting from mid-February.
What does system administration do?
In System Administration, you take care of the student body’s digital infrastructure. From the maintenance and documentation of IT systems to the modernization of the server landscape – you are the central point of contact for all technical challenges.
Your tasks
- Administration of hardware and services such as:
- Univention and OpenLDAP
- Proxmox virtualization server
- Clients with Windows and peripherals
- MediaWiki setup
- Triumph-Adler print service and printer maintenance
- Maintenance of network documentation and IT inventory
- Support in the further development of the IT infrastructure
- Support for Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu), Docker containers and web technologies such as WordPress, PHP and MySQL

What we are looking for
- Knowledge in the administration of IT systems and servers
- Experience with Linux and Windows systems
- Structured and independent way of working
- Interest in the further development of IT structures
- Good knowledge of German and English
Scope of work and benefits
- Around 8-12 hours per week, desired availability for 1 year
- An attractive salary of 14.32 euros/hour according to TV Stud III
- Flexible working hours and the possibility of hybrid work

Working student (m/f/d) in the InterKontinental bookstore
The InterKontinental bookstore in Berlin is looking for a dedicated working student who shares our passion for good books and intercultural exchange to start on April 15.
About us:
InterKontinental is a special indie bookshop in Friedrichshain that specializes in literature from Africa and the diaspora. We are now expanding our range and growing our team. We have already been awarded the German Bookstore Prize and the Berlin Publishing Prize several times and have been organizing the popular African Book Festival for 7 years. With a carefully curated range and regular cultural events, we create a space for exchange, inspiration and diversity.
Your tasks:
- Customer advice and sales
- Cash register and closing
- Shelf maintenance and product presentation
- Support at events and readings
- General store operations
Your profile:
- Enthusiasm for literature, especially for intercultural and feminist topics
- Friendly and service-oriented demeanor
- Reliability and initiative
- Flexibility to help out at weekends or in the evenings
- Ideally initial experience in retail or in a bookshop (not a must)
- Good knowledge of German and English
